Apple Limited Warranty / AppleCare Protection Plan Repairs

As an Authorised Service Provider you can be assured that your beloved Apple devices are serviced while maintaining the integrity and coverage of your warranty provided by Apple.
Do note that any accidental damage or software issues are typically not covered by the warranty provided by Apple and are considered a non-covered and chargable repair.

Before you bring your device to Emagineering Computers

Where possible it is best to have a backup of all data from your Apple device prior to bringing it in for service.

Tier 2 - Moderate Repair Job    $165

• MacBook Single part repair including Main Logic Board, I/O Board, Flash Storage, Display etc.
• Unit requiring multiple software repairs (Disk Rebuild & Malware removal, macOS update with Malware removal etc.)
• Tier 2 does not include MacBook Pro’s 2016 to current model and MacBook 2015 to current model.

Tier 3 - Extended Repair Job    $185

• MacBook Pro, MacBook Pro Retina and MacBook Air Top Cases
• Multipart repair (Display and MLB etc.)
• iMac Single part repair including HDD, Speaker Replacement & Power Supply replacement

Tier 4 - Complex Repair Job     $225

• Any repair for MacBook Pro Retina 2016 and above
• Any repair for MacBook Retina 2015 and above
• iMac Rear Housing & Main Logic Board repairs
• iMac multipart repairs

Data Recovery

Tier 1 - Simple Data Recovery   $145

• Machine is requires to be opened to access data & drive is fully functional
• Data can be recovered from a drive removed from a unit with no recovery tools
• Data can be recovered with Migration Assistant, Carbon Copy Cloner etc.

Tier 2 - Extended Data Recovery    $195

• Drive has bad sectors
• Data can be recovered with tools such as Disk Drill, Disk Warrior etc.
• Data requires minimum supervision during recovery

Tier 3 - Complex Data Recovery   $295

• Drive does not mount/cannot be recognised by macOS
• Data requires constant supervision during recovery
• Data recovery estimated time is over 1 week
